vInspired Live & Nose Piercing

so... haven't written in a while have I? Sorry about that. Got a few things to tell you...

The first is that I went and got my nose pierced, finally :)

there it is! :P looking kinda creepy here, I apologise for my abnormal face.

It still kinda hurts a bit but I guess it's okay. Still a couple of weeks until I change the stud into an L shaped one which would be better because right now it's just a straight stud like an earring. Can't blow my nose or anything at the moment and am scared to sneeze...

Another thing which I haven't really updated on for you guys is that I attended vInspired Live towards the beginning of July where hundreds of people got together to help raise awareness of low self esteem and how to overcome it. This was the cause we as people decided to vote to help to change.

It was such an amazing event that I will never forget and whilst there I made new friends, one of which has become quite close to me since the event and I'm glad to call her my Mufinn :)

At the event we got to watch a couple if live performances from people such as Professor  Green and A.M.E. Tey were so great live and we all had such a good time dancing.

There were also more appearances from Levi Roots (Reggae Reggae Sauce Man), two Olympic medallists, Brooke Kinsella (find out more about her story here) and the people I had been waiting to see for so long, YouTubers Jack and Finn Harries (aka JacksGap.)

They came and spoke to us about using Social Media For Change (video here.)

If you look closely in the video when Jack films the audience shouting 'change something', above the sign in the middle at the back there is a tiny light. That's where me and my friends were sitting. Wish we could have been closer.

Each performance lasted a matter of 15 minutes, and I was so sad to watch J&F leave. Literally watch. Me and my friend Naoise were just staring after them wistfully as they walked out, but I'll see them again at SummerInTheCity this month in London (website here.)

It really was an I incredible event and I will not forget it. Thanks for reading, as always.
